Wow, thanks for the votes! I have entered every assignment, have placed a few times (Contrasting Colors - 2nd & Sound! - 3rd) but up against the consistency of Forrest and the other great shooters here, I have little hope of ever winning. Just the participation is all I need to motivate me though.
Backstory:
This was shot during a newborn shoot on location at a client's home. The baby boy is on mom's lap/chest in a rocking chair by a window after sunset. Natural window light seemed like a great place to start. Processed in Lightroom 2.3 for tone and exposure control. He really is a great smiler, and took quite a few smiley photos of this guy. Started with available window light/bounce fill and then transitioned to studio strobes in the living room.
